What 90%+ website knowledge coverage should actually mean

Coverage is not the number of URLs a crawler touched. It is the amount of useful, current business knowledge the AI can reliably retrieve.

Coverage is not the number of URLs a crawler touched. It is the amount of useful, current business knowledge the AI can reliably retrieve.

Counting pages is only the beginning

A crawler can visit a thousand URLs and still miss the information customers care about. Duplicate pages, thin tag archives, broken templates and stale content can inflate a page count without improving the AI. Useful coverage needs discovery, extraction quality, freshness and retrieval to work together.

Beaco therefore treats page status as operational data: found, queued, learned or failed.

Prioritize customer-facing truth

Service descriptions, product information, pricing, delivery policies, booking instructions, refund rules and business contact information carry more customer value than decorative pages. A mature knowledge engine should preserve page identity so the AI can trace an answer back to the right source.

This also creates a practical way to investigate a bad answer: inspect the learned page, update the website or give Beaco an operator instruction, then sync again.

Freshness matters after launch

The first crawl is not the end of the job. Prices change. Services get renamed. New products appear. Old policies disappear. A content hash lets the system identify pages that changed and avoid wasting resources on pages that did not.

Manual Sync Now controls and scheduled refreshes turn website learning into a maintenance loop rather than a one-time import.

The remaining percentage should be visible

No responsible crawler should promise perfect access to every page on every website. A useful system shows failed pages, lets operators retry them and makes knowledge gaps visible when customer questions reveal missing information.

The product objective is high practical coverage with transparent exceptions.

Beaco principleAI should make the business easier to operate, not harder to supervise.
